Natural Fruit has filed criminal and civil lawsuites against Andy because of the Finnwatch report. The company is accusing him of defaming and damaging their business by broadcasting false statements in public media. If found guilty he might be facing several years in prison and up to £6.6 million fine.
Andy together with Finnwatch see the Natural Fruit actions as regrettable. The company did not want to respond anything despite several efforts to contact the company during the research process. Taking unground legal actions based on verifiable evidense on the company’s own courses of action is not respectable.
