Andy Hall has been informed today that Thailand’s Attorney General has now been given permission to appeal the two times dismissal of Hall’s Aljazeera interview (in Myanmar) criminal defamation prosecution case yet further to Thailand’s Supreme Court.
This criminal charge has been dismissed twice by Prakanong First Instance Court and then the Appeals Court but now again the case is being appealed to the Supreme Court, and permission has been given for that appeal.
Andy Hall’s lawyers have 15 days to respond to the appeal substance in writing following reciept of confirmation of the appeal
