● SKP Resources Berhad (“SKP”) to establish a constructive working relationship with migrant worker rights specialist Mr. Andy Hall to discuss certain areas relating to its migrant worker management systems.
● Both SKP and Mr. Andy Hall are already in discussions to achieve successful cooperation to further enhance the welfare of migrant workers at the company.
Johor Bahru, 8 December 2021 – Electronics Manufacturing Services (“EMS”) provider in Malaysia, SKP Resources Berhad (“SKP” or the “Group”) has received information from Migrant Worker Rights Specialist, Mr. Andy Hall that he received a complaint from workers of SKP’s wholly-owned subsidiary, SPI Plastic Industries (M) Sdn Bhd concerning excessive overtime and payment of recruitment fees. SKP proactively reached out to Mr. Andy Hall on this matter immediately.
