  1. Looks like they’re pulling their information off the web as fast as they can.

  2. People world-wide are aware of your treatment of your workers. There is nowhere to hide: Natural Fruit should perhaps be called ‘Unnatural Fruit’
The prosecutions against Andy Hall are typical of the uncaring – unthinking- blind acquisition of wealth over integrity.

  3. Mr Hall ! you are Not Alone, we are Watching your Case Close !

  4. Wonder why that produce is so cheap? Slavery, Demand fair trade at stores.

  5. Are there any brands that sell Naturalfruit products in the UK? I’ll boycot them at once

    • I’d like a List too, of brands that this Heinous Company uses in different countries. Way Past Time for some serious Boycotting, no matter the outcome of his Case. Slavery will still be going on, probably worsened since they are so gungho in their belief they have a right to Violate people.

  6. Pingback: Seven years in Thai dictatorship’s prison for helping slave workers? | Dear Kitty. Some blog

  7. Is Andy Hall paid to target this particular company in Thailand? One would have thought that the human rights of Europeans is under islamic jihad and this would be more his concern, or even the plight of workers in north africa or the middle east, under islamic slavery. Surely, Qatar is more of a problem when it comes to slavery, and most definitely north africa too.

    • What is your agenda Julean? He’s a researcher. He was paid by Finnwatch to look into slavery in Thailand involved in production of goods for consumption in Finland. That was his Brief. Nothing wrong with it. So why the Hell are you here blathering, like a White Supremacist racist, that he should be looking only into Islamic Jihad, Islamic Slavery, into Qatar? What the Hell if Qatar or most of North Africa is worse? Other people are, should be trying to deal with that. Why the Hell isn’t the Nepalese Government dealing with Qatar for example? It should be patently obvious to anyone with half a wit, looking at what has already been done to Andy Hall since he blew the whistle by just one Thai Company involved in slavery in Thailand, Thai Companies, that would be Buddhist I presume, should be under scrutiny as much as any Companies anywhere iunvlved in slavery no matter their particular God-bent. Not that Thai corruption is news to anyone – Thai people are kind but still we all know there’s a lot of seedy sleazy corruption there – except apparently you with your one eye jaundiced Cyclops only able to focus on slavery if it involves Muslims and Islam. It’s not only Muslims and Islam that make the slavery merry-go-round go round is it Julean?

    • So you are okay with slavery in Thailand?
      Slavery is worldwide
. Why don’t you ask him yourself on the 27th about why he was there.
Look on the Walk Free website for the time. Submit your question before.
What are you doing about slavery in the places you think he should be,?
I won’t be buying any products from this company. What about you Julien?
I guess you can see by all the replies that you came across as rather ignorant about Andy Hall.

  8. Julean, you say that “one would have thought that the human rights of Europeans .. under islamic jihad .. would be more his concern, or even the plight of workers in north africa or the middle east..”
Are these of more concern to you? In which case, can you say what you are doing to help these workers? I have not seen any report that someone of your name is facing prison for fighting slavery, and it is an odd concept you suggest, that one area of slavery is less worthy of concern than another.

  9. Julean two wrongs do not make a right. People focus on areas of their expertise. Human rights is more advanced in Europe and has more advocates. The poor of Thailand are being exploited in so many ways. The owners of this company, Natural Fruit, is a family affair and closely linked to the Democratic Party so corruption is probably at the heart of this attempt to convict when previous attempts failed. Facts – Natural Fruit, registered 9th February 2000, 104 million funds, address 179/12 Moo 11 Tambon Nong Dar Dem, Ampur Pranburi, Prachuap Khiri Khan Province Nai Wirat. Older brother of Chalermchai Sri-on (General Secretary of Democratic Party) 65.3%,(Wirat is head of various business organisations, including Pineapple Association of Thailand) Ms Nujiri, elder sister of Chalermchai 10.5%, Mr. Chekhapha (relationship not stated) 9.6%, Nai Wichai Sri-on, older brother of Chalermchai 4.3%

  10. I support Andy Hall for the strength of is determined highlighting this inhumane treatment and utter disrespect of the workers involved. BUT we too are part of the system that demands lower and lower prices, that doesn’t care where that cheap Pineapple or the $5 skirt are made and by whom. At this moment, Money and power rule the world. If change is to come positively we need to start with us. DEMAND that stores and Websites give you honest verifiable answers to your human rights questions. If they do not DO NOT BUY. If enough of us did this systems would change. You could wear that new skirt with pride knowing the people that created it were properly paid and treated for their care and time.

How would you like your son /daughter treated. Hold to that and the world cannot go wrong. I say this to Natural Fruits owners too. We are one world.

I concur with Margaret – it’s up to us in the West to become more aware shoppers willing to pay a little more if necessary. Labour rights abuses and also trafficking occur across the globe in the supply chains of many goods we buy. People and organisations working to addressing single examples of these should be supported as should Finnwatch and their equivalents elsewhere.

The Thai people can not except any form of criticism, they take out lawsuits on innocent people to hide the truth.boycotte Thailand and there injust system
